What this is is a full, whole, complete, entire page from the September 2010 issue of House Beautiful featuring the shabby-chic slipcovered seats of an SUV belonging to an Interior Designer named Carolyn Espley-Miller. The photo is from an article written about a house she owns and decorated in California. Seriously.

Context? We don't need no stinkin' context.
ReplyDeletethat is one amazing beach house that she decorated....yowza!
ReplyDeleteShe is also the woman behind one of the most amazing blogs on the planet, Slim Paley.com. Despite the fact that she has three GORGEOUS homes and impeccable style, she's down to earth and funny. I think you'll be embarrassed when you check it out.
ReplyDeleteEmbarrassed? I don't get embarrassed. OK, maybe I got embarrassed once when I was about thirteen...
ReplyDelete... my point here was that the magazine (in my opinion) wasted an entire page on slipcovered SUV seats versus another shot of her interiors or exteriors. As a House Beautiful reader I just don't want to see slipcovered car seats.
ReplyDeleteHeaven forbid someone would call an absurdity absurd. Even people with three gorgeous homes, impeccable taste and an amazing blog do absurd things.
